Moment Community Standards
Version: 2026-10-19.en.3. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
These standards address the international service in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The Chinese edition addresses mainland China. Applicable protections do not depend on the language selected.
Treat people safely and honestly
These standards cover profiles, activities, posts, comments, messages, uploaded files, listings, Agent prompts/outputs and interactions arranged through Moment. Do not threaten, harass, stalk, dox, impersonate or discriminate against people; encourage violence or self-harm; organize unlawful or dangerous activity; commit fraud; manipulate prices or engagement; distribute malware; or evade access restrictions. Describe events, credentials, rewards and sponsorships honestly and disclose material commercial relationships where required.
Do not post or request sexual exploitation material, grooming or sexualization of children, trafficking, nonconsensual intimate imagery (including fabricated imagery), or content unlawfully infringing privacy, copyright or likeness. These prohibitions apply to private groups, tokenized assets and AI-generated content. Do not collect unnecessary sensitive information or ask for payment credentials or wallet secrets.
Child safety
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited. Do not upload, solicit, sell, link to or redistribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or use messages or activities to groom or exploit a child. Report a concern through the channel below; do not download or attach illegal imagery to a report. Information about a concern may need to be preserved and reported to the competent authority as required by law.
Report content or an AI output
Email service-moment@metana.ai with the profile/content URL or identifier, what happened, approximate time and a safe reply contact. You do not need a Moment account to use this route. For an AI output, provide the conversation/output identifier and enough non-sensitive context to locate it. For imminent danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service; this email is not an emergency dispatch service.
User-facing in-app reporting and blocking are not yet available as a complete system. Use the email route to report a concern or request review of a restriction. This limitation does not remove protections or response obligations imposed by law.
Nonconsensual intimate-image removal
Use subject “Intimate image removal request” and provide your physical or electronic signature, information sufficient to locate the depiction, a brief statement of your good-faith belief that it was published without consent, and contact information. An authorized representative may submit for the depicted person. Do not attach the intimate image or make a new public copy.
Where Moment is a covered platform under the US TAKE IT DOWN Act, a valid request requires removal of the depiction and reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies within 48 hours. Holding an account is not a condition. Other applicable laws can require additional protection.
Copyright, moderation and appeals
For a copyright concern, identify the work, the allegedly infringing material's location, your authority and a safe reply contact. The general support address is not represented as a registered US DMCA agent. This contact route does not replace any separate statutory notice procedure that applies to your claim.
Moment may remove or limit content and restrict accounts where proportionate and lawful, preserve necessary evidence and make required reports. Where legally permitted, affected users should receive a reason and can request review through the support email with the content/case identifier and grounds for review. Safety measures do not cancel lawful refunds, asset recovery or privacy rights.
